Hello ALL, little intro about me:Iam on H4 visa, i moved to states last year.i dont want to do masters here and im looking for any consultancy who can change my status from H4 to H1. Every year i know that H1 openings will be in april and from october we would be able to do job. but no one is doing h1, i dont know what is proceduere right now, would i need to apply for h1 this april or first i need to get job, client letter to apply for h1. plz reply. your valuable suggestions are appreciated.
Hi, As per my knowledge you first need a client letter and after having that you can apply for H1 visa through your consultant anytime after april 1st. Conversion from H4-H1 is quiet long process and it might take few months to get your visa.
