The Indian Army secured the Kashmir Valley and the only object left was to clean out the remnants of the Gibraltar Force. Under the guidance of United Nations, the cease-fire came into effect.

5/3/1913Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, more generally known as Dada Saheb Phalke, was responsible for the production of India's first fully indigenous silent four-reel feature film 'Raja Harishchandra' which heralded the birth of the Indian film industry. The film had titles in Hindi and English and was released on May 3, 1913 at the Coronation Cinematograph in Bombay.
5/18/1932Hindu-Muslim riots take place in Bombay. 150 are killed or injured. Jinnah - the permanent president of the Muslim league, began to spread the rumors that Muslim minority was in danger under Hindu majority and actively propagated the theory of two separate nations.
