Ive lived in Capitol Hill for about 6 months & havent noticed any Indian families in the neighbourhood yet. If there are any Indian women (ideally without kids) in the area (or even in Bellevue) whod like to hang out over tea or coffee, feel free to respond. Im married, 35 & work from home. Moved here from London with my husband but lived on the US east coast for several years prior to that. Im an Architect but do not currently practice. I love the new wave of Indian art house movies, amongst others & books (Terry Pratchett, George RR Martin, Harper Lee). I also love to eat Chinese, Mexican & Indian & pretty much all baked goods.Please note that Ive lived away from India for 12 years & am used to life here. If youre a new transplant, miss home terribly & would prefer to talk only about religion, your kids and/or how weird you find the United States, Im afraid I wont be of any help.If youre a dude, Im not interested.:) Manasi
