Kripa Upadhyay, Attorney
PROFILEKripa’s practice focuses on all areas of
Immigration and Nationality law. She has a diverse practice representing
individuals and companies in various stages of the immigrant and
non-immigrant process. Her practice includes employment based petitions,
family based petitions, removal defense, naturalization and
non-immigrant visas. An active member of the local American Immigration
Lawyers Association (AILA) chapter, she has served as the Chair and Vice
Chair of a variety of committees. She is admitted to practice
before the Washington State Supreme Court; The Board of Immigration
Appeals; The District court for the Western District of WA, and the 9th
Circuit Court of Appeals. Kripa is fluent in Nepali and Hindi, conversant in Urdu and is now learning Spanish. Kripa
graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 2007, and is a
frequent guest lecturer at the Law School’s Immigration law class and
law clinic. A first-generation immigrant from Nepal, she is
actively involved with the local Nepali community and the larger
Immigrant communities for whom she regularly organizes free
