Srinagar, April 1 (IANS) Amid the gloom over coronavirus, an interesting Twitter exchange in J&K has lightened the atmosphere.

It started with Srinagar-based radio jockey Sardar Nasir Ali Khan's tweet that his FM station in Kashmir is bringing back the romantic melodies of the 1990s.

"Can proudly say that we are first radio station here in the valley to bring back the Romantic Melodies of 90s era back on radio. Do listen to 95 @fm_tadka today. An audio tweet awaits," Khan tweeted.

To this, J&K's Principal Secretary planning and governmet spokesman Rohit Kansal replied: "Way to go...Melodies of the 90s. Sweet Nostalgia...my personal favourites- Pehla Nasha (JJWS) Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye (Jurm) and Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jana Sanam (DDLG)."

To this, Ikhlaq tweeted: "Chacha Aap bi Kamal ho kabi hasatay ho kabhi rulatey ho."

Kansal shot back a tweet quoting a song from "Anand", the Rajesh Khanna starrer of the 1970s.

"Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli Haaye Kabhi To Hansaaye Kabhi Yeh Rulaaye."

Kansal has been tweeting J&K on the corona virus outbreak developments in the UT. He has also been addressing press conferences to give updates about the situation.
