Venky Atluri joins hands with Nithiin, Keerthy Suresh for 'Rang De'

Chennai, June 24 (IANS) Actors Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh have teamed up for the first time for upcoming Telugu romantic drama "Rang De", which will be directed by Venky Atluri.

On Monday, the makers announced the project via a special poster. This will be Atluri's third directorial venture after "Tholi Prema" and "Mr. Majnu".

According to the poster, veteran lensman PC Sreeram has been roped in to crank the camera while Sithara Entertainments will bankroll the project.

Nithiin, who is currently shooting for Telugu actioner "Bheeshma", has announced three projects in a span of a few weeks. He also has a yet-untitled Telugu film with director Chandrasekhar Yeleti and it was announced last week.

Keerthy Suresh is meanwhile currently shooting for her upcoming yet-untitled film across various locations in Europe.

She will start shooting for her Bollywood project from July onwards. To be directed by Amit Sharma of "Badhaai Ho" fame, the biopic will chronicle the Indian national football team's glory days from 1950 to 1963. The film also stars Ajay Devgn.

Keerthy also has a Telugu sports comedy with director Nagesh Kukunoor in the offing. The film also stars Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapathi Babu and Rahul Ramakrishna in pivotal roles.
