I have a BSc and MSc from Mumbai University and have practiced in Fl and California. Inspite of that I have been asked to do 22 credits in general education. They need 50 credits inall - I had done 22 for California Bd and had about 7 from my India education. If you go to the website - u will get more details.https://fortress.wa.gov/doh/hpqa1/hps3/Physical_Therapy/default.htm

Hi Amit,I have completed BSc and MSc in PT from Bombay Univ. I have been in the US for 12 yrs and have a license in Fl and Ca - inspite of this I have been asked to get 22 credits in general education. FYI - I also have about 22 credits from a community college which included lab - I had to do this for CA license. Bottom line they need 50 general credits and 120 ( Not sure)professional credits and at least 12 hrs in Wound care Course ( CME ).CLEP is accepted by Washington bd. If you need more info - let me know ur number and I will be gladly talk to you. good luck

Hi Amit( i guess) Do you already have a Washington license and do you have a degree from here or from India. I too am a PT and have been asked by the WA board to complete quite a few credits as I have a degree from India before getting licensed. Job prospects seem good in hspitals ( Acute set up) and nusrsing home . I have also seen a lots of Outpatient clinics in and around seattle. Let me know if u need more info.
