You did not mention where your work is. There is nothing economical in Seattle or its surroundings. It is rapidly growing and the rents reflect that. Also, most of the school districts are good. If you are looking for Telugu communities - look in Bellevue, Kirkland, Bothell, Sammamish. Go to ISKCON temple in sammamish and you will be sure to find telugu devotees to chat to.
