Dear fellow Indians,I see a lot of threads which say " looking for friends" ( from particular community/language/ whatever).. Think before starting a thread. Are you really looking for meaningful friendships or just to kill time?I see many desis who crib about not having friends, boredom and so on... but do you know you are that you are the reason for your situation!? Most of you dont know how to maintain friendships and you always end up making groups, politics, talking negatively about other peoples language/community etc...Why cant you all think and act in a matured way? We all are here for some reason and we need a social circle to have a good time, share and care for each other. Dont show your dirty attitude, letting others down showing that you are superior to them or brag about yourselves, your job and your assets!! Every dog has its day!Be humble and learn to respect others then you will have lot of good friends. We Indians are the only people in USA who always fight or complain against our fellow Indians. No other country people do this. If you didnt like my post, just ignore! I wanted to post this as I am really frustrated with most of our fellow desis attitude here. Pls make a good use of this forum and value friendship and humanity more than ur egos.

Hi there, I dont know ur name but I completely agree with you. currently my husband and I are going through the same frustration and feel like cheated by our own desi friends who played good politics! really, we need to change our thinking process and broaden our views. we are also looking for some long term healthy friendship in which we dont have any kind of burden to maintain it. I would like to meet like minded people.
