My wife and I are moving to Seattle from Mumbai in Jan 2013. We have never been to US before. My office would be in Bellevue. We would prefer to live in areas where a lot of Indians are settled. Can you please recommend any such areas where we should look for houses? Our budget would be between 1500 USD to 2000 USD per month. Preferably a 2 bedroom house.Also, can someone also help us with information on finding a house, including:1) How much is the initial deposit usually?2) What should we watch out for or keep in mind when selecting a house?3) What should we carry from India? We have a fully furnished house in Mumbai. Does it make sense to transport the furniture etc. to Seattle or should we buy the stuff from Seattle itself? Note, my company would be paying for the relocation expenses.
