Im not understanding how to get India Visa for first time travel to India with US passport. Anyone have any advices? How long does it take? Where do I go?Also, if I get a 5 year visa, will i need to leave for 2 months every year?
you can contact visa service at Indian embassy- I know one is in California for sure. you can either get for 6 month or 1 year--BUT would suggest to get OCI--overseas citizen of India, this willl give life time visa and can travel any time even for 6 months-- you will only pay one time fee for this and get India visa for life time-- I belive its about $ 250 BUT not for sure--good luck
