I am currently living in US and i am about to buy a plot in India in my name. My dad is helping me out there in India over the same. I need to know whether my dad be able to buy a property in my name while I am here in US. Is there any legal process invloved ? Do I need to provide any sort of power to my dad and that way he could register the plot in my name?. I am sure many would have done this. kindly help me here with your valuable info.
