We just moved to Seattle. My husband works in the Downtown Area. We are looking for apartments. We have a son who is 18 months. It will be very helpful if we can find a place closer to where there are kid friendly activities. Also if you know any good apartments please suggest.
Hi Tarek, I live near downtown. A lot of my friends live in or near downtown too. The best thing would be to live close to your work. You might choose downtown itself where there are places for kids activities or 5-10 min away where I live. Very safe, decent and affordable too. Hi Tarek. IN Seattle Bellevue is a safe, cheap and with lot of Indian community. We also moved here in March and after lot of search we find out that Bellevue is a great place to live with kids. Lot of activities for kids so search in Bellevue,Read the review of apartment firs, Hope you will find some great Place for you.
Bellevue is a nice place with a huge desi community and lots of kid friendly activities. It will be about 20-30 min from downtown seattle. There are nice areas near downtown seattle too but they would be very expensive to live. South of downtown is not good until you get to Kent, north of downtown you can look at shoreline/mountlake terrace areas which have some desi community.You can search craigslist to look at some apts in these areas.
