Historical Event on 5/11/1998
Three momentous events took place on the day that did the nation proud. Firstly, three underground nuclear tests at Pokhran Range in Rajasthan, which included a hydrogen bomb, were tested; secondly, the successful test firing of the 'Trishul Missile' and thirdly, the maiden Certification test flight of 'Hansa-3', the first-all Composite indigenous two seater aircraft.

He discovered new codes for telecommunication. In 1976, America's highest honour to a scientist came to Bose as he was elected Fellow of the US Academy of Sciences. |

7/13/1947 | An Indian Independence Bill was moved in the British Parliament on 4th July 1947 which became an 'Act' on 13th July 1947. Two Boundary Commissions under Sir Cyril Radcliff were appointed to demarcate the boundaries of Punjab and Bengal. |
