All Lights Film Services takes Three Indian Movies to Gwinnett Center International Film Festival

All Lights Film Services, one of the leading Film Festival consultancies in India have taken three Indian movies to the reputed red carpet of Gwinnett Center International Film Festival,USA. Movies which include, Malayalam movie ''Thira' , directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, and two other Marathi movies 'Pinky-Ek Sathyakatha' by Sudhin Thakur and 'Kapus Kondyachi Goshta' by Mrunalini Bhosale will get screened in the festival as the official selection.
The 2nd Gwinnett Center International Film Festival is scheduled from August 1st - August 3rd 2014. The festival aims to present awards to the most innovative and artistic filmmakers in a variety of categories. The recent news from the corner is regarding the selection of two Indian movies in this festival.
'Thira' directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan is a dramatic thriller movie. Movie begins with the introduction of a cardiologist, Rohini Pranab (Shobhana), who apart from her job of a doctor also runs an organisation for women which acts against women trafficking and helps orphaned girls. Things get into trouble when some girls from the organisation get kidnapped. Rohini sets out on a mission to find those who are behind her husband's murder and who have trafficked the girls.
Sudhin Thakur's 'Pinky-Ek Sathyakatha' showcases the most controversial story of illicit activities ruling the Indian athletic world. The film is based on the real life of Pinky Pramanik who was allegedly accused of gender forgery. It also portrays the unholy nexus and hand in glove relation between Indian politics and sports, and the illicit use of Testosterone doses among women athletes.
'Kapus Kondyachi Goshta' directed by lady filmmaker Mrunalini Bhosale can be considered as an absolute gem of a film. The movie is a perfect epitome of 'feel good' film making, and it has gained highly positive reviews in all places where it got screened. The movie give importance to women empowerment. This marathi movie portrays the life of Jyothi, a young girl and bread winner of the family who tries hard to look after her family which comprises of three younger sisters. Jyothi and her siblings were left alone after the suicide of their father and muder of their mother, and the remaining movie showcases the journey of Jyothi to find the comfort shore of life to meet the both ends of life.
