Nalini Krishnan who is a resident of Woodinville, WA and currently goes to
Berkley College of Music is going to perform at the Boston Sargam 2012. Nalini
won the First Prize in her age category at the Boston Sargam competition in
2011. She also won the People's Choice award.

Boston Sargam is a non-profit that strives to promote art and talent, and
provides artists a great platform to showcase their art form. We are known to
bring about professional quality shows with high entertainment value.

The competition is in 3 categories: Solo Song, Solo Dance, Group Dance 4-5
finalists in each category and each age division. We award 1st & 2nd place in
each age division.

There is also one people''s choice award winner called ''Aap ki Awaaz'' in the
Solo categories which is voted by the Audience through texting.

This year we''ve had a very large community participation from all over New
England and also contenders singing up from CA, NV, MI, VA mentions a few
states. We have a very strong finalist pool and are looking to a grand event on
Oct 13th to select our winners.
