How To Resolve Your Internal Conflict

When you are feeling bad within yourself, anything and everything outside of you looks better. You may be able to convince yourself it is better to run away from your feelings.


 


When you are feeling bad, the feeling is in you. You can't get away from it! You might find someone to blame it on. That will only work for a while. Sooner or later you will be forced to accept the fact that the bad feeling is your feeling and it has nothing to do with anyone else.


 


Most bad feelings are the result of conflict. The conflict may be the result of not getting what you want or believe you can have. The conflict could come from the feeling that you are losing control of yourself and your life. In any case, at the core of all bad feelings there is an absence of one essential thing...love.


 


When you are feeling bad about yourself or your life, do something you love. Make sure that the thing you love to do is good for you. Make sure that it will not hurt anyone else. Make sure that while you are doing it, you remind yourself of all the ways you can be more loving, more supportive and more encouraging to yourself.


 


Love is really the only thing that will help you resolve your internal conflict so that you can feel better for a long time to come.
