The Ultimate New Years Resolution --- the Resolution to Succeed.

There is a deep desire in everyone of us to succeed. We all go through these short bursts of enthusiasm and motivation, make some promising resolutions for ourselves to meet success. When we start we start it pretty enthusiastically, but something happens in the mid that we loose interest and motivation and find it so hard to sustain.Making resolutions is not that significant but what really matters is that if we can keep up that bubbling level of energy, excitement, determination and commitment to achieve what we are really striving for.

However, motivation can at times diminish, the strong drive and excitement you once felt is lost. People give many reasons for it like when you start working upon something you visualize only the bright side of it but as the obstacles come along the way, the confidence deteriorates, negativity seeps in and stress accumulates over the period of time. When one is not motivated, one gets easily tired and soon boredom sets in, when things become in routine. Your mind starts wandering and thinking something new will be better. Your focus shifts completely from your current goal to a newer activity.You feel as if you have no control over it and finally end up blaming others and the circumstances for your failure.

Now the question to ask is that if there is a way to not get driven by the circumstances and have the control in our own hands. Is there a way to bring back that same level of enthusiasm and motivation which we once felt in the beginning? Well the good news is that it's all possible but most of us are just not aware of it. Stress is the major culprit sapping our enthusiasm and we just need to incorporate some practices that can heal and harmonize our body, mind, and spirit to release our mental and physical stress. I have come across a program which has equipped me with couple of amazingly simple techniques to bring up my enthusiasm and motivation. One of the techniques that I found extremely practical was learning rhythmic breathing that can be practiced for 10 minutes a day. The best part is that you don't need to go anywhere and can practice it at your own home and at your own convenience. This 10 minutes investment was an insurance for me in saving my new year's resolutions. I feel that everyone in this world needs to get empowered with these beautiful lifetime skills for dealing effectively in today's world with challenging emotions and situations and come out as a winner, not the victim.
