10 Kalpanakal is the debut directorial venture of Don Max, who has been a part of the South Indian entertainment industry as a successful editor since 2005.
Anoop Menon, who plays the lead role in the movie along with Meera Jasmine and Kaniha. Meera, who was staying away from limelight for quite some time now, is making her comeback to Malayalam movies with a strong role. She will be seen as a stylish police officer in a never-seen-before avatar in the movie.'10 Kalpanakal' also stars Murali Gopi, Thampy Antony, Joju George , Prasant Narayanan, Kavitha Nair , Ritika Badiani ,and Anumol in pivotal roles.
The crime drama is written by Sangeeth Jain and featuring additional scripting by Sooraj and Neeraj.'10 Kalpanakal' is co-produced by Manu Padmanabhan Nair, Jiji Anchani, Jacob Koeypuram and Biju Thoranathel under the banner Shutterbugs Entertainments.
Playback singer, who is known as the Nightingale of the South India, Janaki, who is fondly called Janakiyamma quit singing with a lullaby Ammapoovinum for 10 Kalpanakal. Composed by Mithun Eshwar. Another song titled Vethala Chirakil was remix song sung by Meera Jasmine, MC Rude and Midhun Eshwar.
