We moved from California last year. To help answer some of your questions:Schools: There are A LOT of options, private and public. It depends on what your family is looking for academically and culturally.Indian Community: Kent area has some good Indian shopping off Benson Rd.Adjustment: It does rain. There are more hours of daylight here. On the days it rains you can always check out a museum if you have to go out. On sunny days, there are a variety of things to do (concerts, festivals, events) and parks galore!Lastly, most popular Indian (Hindi & Sikh & Punjabi) special days are celebrated either North in Redmond/Bellevue or South (Kent/Tacoma).All the best,R.S.
