I have a offer from a Seattle based company and I have a daughter who would be going to 4th grade. Can someone on the forum suggest which areas have good schools? I would prefer area that has best Elementary and Middle School. I am okay with a commute of 15 miles radius.

Hi!Ive been living in Bellevue since last 3 years. My son is in 3rd grade this year. He used to go to Ardmore, but were not happy. In Bellevue school District - Bennett Elementary, Cherry Crest, Clyde Hill and Spiritridge are considered to be good schools. Bennett has improved a lot since past few years. However, there are very few apartments available in these areas. most of them are townhomes with higher rents. Our apartment was in the district area for Ardmore Elementary. We moved a couple of blocks further and found a very good school in Lake Washington School district(LWSD) In LWSD, John Audubon Elementary school, Rosa Parks, Ben Franklin, Ben Rush Elementary schools are considered to be best schools. I feel finding apartments in LWSD is easier, but your choice may also depend on where your office is located.
U can check www.bsd405.org for Bellevue school district and u can check the rating of the school.cherry crest,Sherwood forest,Ardmore,Bennett,Stevenson are the known schools in Bellevue.
If you get to know some good schools please let me know as me too I have kid who is going to 3rd standard in India and I am coming to Seattle on 1st febThanks in Advance
