We recently moved from NJ to Archstone Redmond Campus. I have a 3.5 yr old who is attending bright horizons. However Im looking for various other montessori school options for her. Would be of great help if anyone of you could throw some light on the various good schools private/public around this area.Additionally are there anyone who is currently teaching Indian music and dance to kids in this area?
In addition to the ones that has been mentioned in this email chain I have received good reviews abt cougar mountain, cascadia, eton, BCA, cedar crest, bellevue montessori. Would apprciate reviews abt these schools from parents who send their kids to one of them. Im trying for cascadia and BCA as both of them are closer to my house
Though Bright Horizons is a lil expensive Im quite impressed with their curriculam. My daughter has shown remarkable changes in the past 6 months. Few +s 1. open till 6.30 PM and have very minimal closures. Helps if you are a FTM. 2. They feed the kids 5 times a day!-s 1. Pricy 2. It is more like a day care. Dont follow a structured learning. May be its a good place till they are 4. After which you should def consider sending your kids to a school
I highly recommend Spectrum Academy. Teachers are wonderful, its amazing how much my 4 year old could do. Havent seen any unhappy kid faces there. Their tuition is reasonable too compared to any other school in that area. We enrolled our daughter temporarily there for two months while awaiting spot from Eton school. We later rejected Etons spot because she was already thriving at Spectrum. She will graduate this year after staying at Spectrum for 2.5 year. They are huge on music too...all included in the tuition.
It all depends that what you are looking for.If you like the montessori concept of play n learn then Lake view Montessori is good school. Bright Horizons is very good school but little expensive then montessori. From the age of 4 year you can try Bellevue Childrens academy. Its very academic and has uniform code and lots of homework.I picked up a school for my daughter that fits in our lifestyle.Let me know if you have anymore questions.
